Moving Again!

Just to let everyone know that we are going to be moving again on March 5, 2009. We found a lovely house to rent for a year, and we will have the option of buying it come the end of our lease if we really like the house. It is in Bradford, but far enough from the city to have a nice yard and a little quiet. It is a 4 bedroom house with a bath and a half. It has a laundry room, so I can have my washer and dryer back. It has a 2 car garage, and a full basement. It is a very nice house with built in dressers upstairs in the 2 bedrooms. We have 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs. The living room is huge, and there is tons of storage space. There is a closet in every bedroom, and lovely apple, pear, and peach trees in the yard. I am so excited and can't wait until moving day. I have lots to do to prepare for it, but mostly that is taken care of over the phone. All of our stuff minus 2 beds are in storage and still packed up from the move up here so all we have to do is load the truck and be on our way. Thought I would let everyone know. I will be sending out our new address as soon as we are there. I don't want to jinx anything now. It would be just my luck.....

Cpl. Jonathan Yale

My husband's cousin, so that makes him mine, was a United States Marine. He was fighting in Iraq when he was killed by a roadside bombing on April 22, 2008. He was 21 years old. On Friday, February 20, 2009, he was awarded the Navy Cross. His mother and sister were there for sure, in memory of their hero! He was a good guy, and a better Marine. He loved the corps, and he loved our country. He and another soldier died to save many. For more details you can read this article that I found that covers about everything: http://www.marines.mil/units/marforcom/iimef/2ndmardiv/Pages/FallenMarinesawardedNavyCross.aspx
Here is a local news station covering the story... http://news14.com/content/local_news/coastal/605344/lejeune-marines-honored-with-navy-cross/Default.aspx
That will give you the whole story about Jonathan and Jordan's last minutes on this earth. God Bless our military, those that have served, are serving or will serve! Sempre Fi.

Update for now....

A lot has been going on around here and I haven't had much time to think let alone write anything. I am sorry for that. We are all doing well... Steve is doing great at work, the store manager really likes him. The down fall to this is that he likes to schedule Steve to close the store a lot. Normally that wouldn't be a bad thing except it is a two hour drive between where we live and where he works, and in bad weather it is even longer. Last night, Steve stayed in Bradford because the roads were really icy and I didn't think it was safe enough to come all the way home.

We are looking for a house to rent with option to buy right now. We thought we found one and had an appointment to go and see it, but the landlord called last night to let me know that it had been rented. I told her that it was okay and I thanked her for her time. I just take that as a sign from God that the house wasn't meant to be ours.

The boys are doing really well. Kyle's report card was all A's and 1 B. He loves school, even though he says he doesn't. I met with his teacher and she showed me something interesting about my son. By the end of the school year the children are required to read aloud 90 correct words a minute. Kyle can read 167 correct words a minute right now! I am so proud of my boy!

Stevie has finally been potty trained!! I thought he would never get the hang of it, and all it took was for me to run out of pull-ups and not get anymore. He has been in regular underwear for over a month now and no accidents! I am very proud of him.

Freddy is my fussy one right now. He kept me up almost all night last night because he wasn't feeling well. He woke up around 1 in the morning, and I noticed that he felt really warm. I checked his temperature and it was in the 100's, so I knew it had to be associated with his cutting two more teeth. I came down stairs got him some tylenol, and made a bottle. Fed him and rocked him until the tylenol kicked in and then back up to bed we went. He didn't go back to sleep until 3:30 or so this morning and I had to be up by 6am to get Kyle ready for school! So I am running on caffine and the power of prayer this morning. It definitely makes things interesting when you are sleep deprived. Things are funnier when you haven't had a whole lot of sleep....

Well, that is pretty much what is going on right now. When I have my own computer up and running again, which won't be until we have our own house, I will be posting lots of new pictures as I take them. Hope everyone is well. Take care to all.
